Kentucky Star Reed Sheppard Enters NCAA Transfer Portal

20-year-old Reed Sheppard, a 6'3" guard from London, Kentucky, has entered the NCAA transfer portal.

Sheppard was a highly-touted recruit, earning Gatorade Player of the Year and Kentucky Mr. Basketball in 2022. He was a consensus four-star recruit and a McDonald's All-American.

In his freshman season at Kentucky, Sheppard averaged 12.5 points on 53.6% shooting, including 52.1% from three-point range. He also contributed 4.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 2.5 steals per game.
